The Marcus Ginyard Basketball Camp is thrilled to be less than two weeks away from our first Chapel Hill Community Day! We’ve partnered with Chapel Hill Parks and Rec, Chapel Hill Police and Fire Department, as well as established local businesses Italian Pizzeria 3 and Chapel Hill Sportswear to create a clinic, free for 60 young campers that will focus on much more than just hoops!

The two-day clinic will cover fundamental basketball skills such as dribbling, passing and shooting, while also incorporating engaging activities and demonstrations with the Police and Fire Departments of Chapel Hill. We expect to have a few special guests stop in to spend some time with the campers as well.

Chapel Hill Community Day will be held at the Hargraves Community Center July 7 and 8 from
9 a.m.-3 p.m. Lunch will be provided. The camp is open for children who will be enrolling in third through eighth grade for the 2017-18 school year, and who are residents of Orange County. Registration is available on the website www.MarcusGinyard.com/Camps. Feel free to contact us by email if you have any questions at GinyardBasketballCamp@gmail.com.

We are still seeking any donations or support to continue to find the means to provide this free camp to the children in Chapel Hill. If there are any businesses, institutions or individuals that would like to get involved, please contact us. Our main goal is to provide an unforgettable experience for the young campers!
