With a new album, “All of My Friends,” and a show Saturday at the Pinhook, Rodes (MK Rodenbough) joined Aaron this week on Live & Local.
Recorded mostly before the pandemic, “All of My Friends” came out last fall, with stellar singles including “So Well” and “I’m Not Going To Get What I Want Tonight.” Guest performers on the album include Carter Hodge, Skylar Gudasz – and MK’s sister, Libby Rodenbough of Mipso.
Now relocated to Chicago, MK is back in town for Saturday’s show at the Pinhook, starting at 9 p.m. with Al Riggs also on the bill.
MK Rodenbough joined Aaron Keck on “Live & Local” to discuss the album, the show, and the name “Rodes” (and why it might not last). They also played three songs, “So Well,” “I’m Not Going To Get What I Want Tonight,” and “Bricks.” Listen below:
