Experimental electronic artist Frank Tomorrow stopped by Live and Local this week, ahead of a show at the Cave on Thursday, August 17.
Visit Frank’s Bandcamp page to hear his music.
“Frank Tomorrow” is 69-year-old Frank DiMauro, who turned to music in retirement after a long career in communications and programming.
Influenced by artists ranging from Frank Zappa to Brian Eno to Pink Floyd, DiMauro has only been making music for a few years, but he’s already released 19 albums – three this year alone, including January’s “Veronica Never Knows.” (He says the title track is the best thing he’s ever done – so far.)
Next week’s show at the Cave will be a family affair: Frank will be joined on stage by his son, percussionist Rob DiMauro, who’s also (among many other things) the drummer for the popular local band Heat Preacher.
Visit CavernTavern.org for more on the Cave show, which begins at 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 17.
Frank Tomorrow stopped by Live and Local to promote the show and play the song “Veronica Never Knows.”
