Celebrating the release of “Arcadia Deluxe,” an expanded version of his 2022 album “Arcadia,” Marc Rodriguez of Fool in Utopia joined Aaron this week on Live and Local.
Learn more about the album at FoolInUtopia.com.
Originally from San Antonio by way of New Jersey, Rodriguez relocated to Chapel Hill last year to pursue a Ph.D. in toxicology at UNC. On the musical side, he dropped “Arcadia” last June, but he wasn’t fully satisfied: one song in particular, “Gemini,” never fully gelled and ultimately got left off the album. But Rodriguez says the song finally came together this year – enabling the release of “Arcadia Deluxe,” which also includes live and alternate takes of other songs from the album as well.

Marc Rodriguez stopped by Live and Local to discuss the album, play the “Gemini” track, and perform two songs live: “Keep My Head Straight” and “Fool.”
