Fresh off the release of his new album “Discovery After Death,” Elijah Rosario joined Aaron this week on Live & Local.
Inspired by his own experience with depression and self-discovery after his mother’s passing – as well as his reflections on being a new father – “Discovery After Death” is a hip-hop concept album that parallels Rosario’s personal journey through darkness and into light. Lead single “Silver Lining” made our list of the best local songs of 2022, and the full album follows up on every bit of that success.
Rosario’s celebrating the release of “Discovery” with a mini-tour this week – culminating with a show at the Pinhook Friday night, featuring Kenny Wavinson, Micah Evans and Tesh.

Elijah Rosario stopped by Live & Local to discuss the album and play three tracks: “Phone Home,” “Grandma’s House,” and “Common Ground.” Listen:
