Join Aaron Keck Monday through Friday at 6:00 p.m. for “Live & Local,” where you’ll hear music from artists close to home, and even get the chance to listen in as local musicians talk about where they’ve been, where they’re going, and what’s happening in the local music scene.

Listen below for another session on “Live & Local” as Aaron Keck is joined by Knox Engler — and not a moment too soon, since the new EP “Glitter” just came out!

“Glitter” features music entirely conceived, written and recorded in the midst of COVID-19. Playing a unique brand of Chapel Hill-based progressive math rock with a hint of metal, Knox Engler makes long-form guitar-driven songs about everything from getting the world back together to anthropomorphic guitars hanging out.

Listen below for the full conversation between Knox Engler, who also served as an instructor at School of Rock Chapel Hill for the last year, for live performances in the 97.9 The Hill studio of songs from “Glitter!”
