This week’s Hometown Hero, presented by Hendrick Southpoint, is Dr. Maureen Dale!
Dr. Dale works with the Dementia-Friendly Program at UNC Hospitals in Hillsborough. The UNC Center for Aging and Health’s Dementia-Friendly Hospital Initiative uses online modules and face-to-face training to equip physicians and staff with tools and approaches to improve care for the rapidly expanding population of patients living with ADRD.
Dr. Maureen Dale talked to @WCHLChapelboro about UNC's Dementia Friendly Hospital Initiative. This week we're marking the initial success of the program at our Hillsborough Campus. Learn more about why this training is so important by listening here… https://t.co/eG1QjSWoDI
