This week’s Hometown Hero, presented by the O. Max Gardner Foundation, is Suzanne Tormollen.
Tormollen is the director of marketing at TABLE, a beloved local nonprofit helping kids with food insecurity in Chapel Hill and Carrboro since 2008. Tormollen has been with TABLE almost since the day she moved to Chapel Hill 14 years ago. TABLE feeds about a thousand kids every week with food delivered right to their doorsteps, more than half of which is fresh produce. They also promote nutrition education with their at home cooking program, Chefs at Home.
You can learn more about TABLE here.
