This week’s Hometown Hero, presented by Hendrick Southpoint, is Sharon Croom!
Croom is assistant operations manager for the transportation team responsible for getting students to and from Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools each and every day. With a shortage of bus drivers making headlines, Croom was instrumental in the effort to keep buses running and schools open — and was going above and beyond alongside her colleagues and co-workers.
