This week’s Hometown Hero, presented by Hendrick Southpoint, is Lloyd Kramer!
After 38 years as a history professor at UNC and the director Carolina Public Humanities, Kramer is retiring. While Carolina Public Humanities existed before him, Kramer has overseen a tremendous growth and expansion of the institution. His work with Carolina Public Humanities has helped many people and our community find a deeper meaning and deeper thinking in how we interact with the world around us and how we live our lives.
