This week’s Hometown Hero, presented by Hendrick Southpoint, is UNC men’s basketball alumnus and radio analyst Eric Montross, who was diagnosed with cancer earlier this year.
A long-time supporter of UNC Children’s Hospital, Montross’ contributions as a community member and a Tar Heel are considerable, from annual Father’s Day basketball camps to being a friendly face around town.
