Carrburritos is a popular destination for burrito lovers in Chapel Hill and Carrboro.

The restaurant’s reputation is growing as it recently landed on a list of the “Top 25 College Town Burrito Spots.”  The list was made by uCribs, an apartment search engine designed for renters looking to live near college campuses throughout the country.carrburritos

Carrburritos landed at No. 20 on the list.

Tyler Hakes of uCribs writes, “Carrburritos serves up some of the best burritos on the eastern seaboard along with a hearty side of clever wordplay.”  Hakes also credits their popular salsas as a reason for landing on the list.

Elvira’s Grill, a spot in Claremont, California, landed on top of the list.

This is the second Carrboro institution to gain recent national attention.  The music news website Consequence of Sound recently put Cat’s Cradle on their list of top music venues in the United States.
