Exploring Your Creative Genius: Episode 78

In the last episode of Exploring your Creative Genius I shared some really cool neuroscience research that explored and determined the direct relationship between your brain’s optimal performance and your naturally preferred behaviors: when allowed to act as you naturally choose to your brain is most ready to learn, to be challenged, to engage in new creative thinking, and less anxious.

What’s additionally neat is how there are so many wonderful creative and entrepreneurial behaviors found naturally in each preferred behavior set.

When faced with a new project or a problem do you:

>Just get started, you have a strong bias for action. That serves you creatively because we are all smarter when we move and by taking action you are out exploring the world and gathering your own insights.

>Want to analyze the data, the current information.  That serves you creatively since your analysis will reveal patterns and the patterns will display anomalies, disconnects, that call on your creative consideration.

>Find folks to join you. That’s great because as important as idea generation is, execution is where it happens and you love helping others do their best.

>Look inward. You know how to stoke your unorthodox imagination and there you look for a new combo or a fresh thought.

The neuroscience shows that we are usually strong in two behavior clusters; the last two listed are where I live.
