Exploring Your Creative Genius: Episode 99
Last Sunday the show was all about Heidi Hackney and Robin Brooke and the new business they’ve launched to help autistic people develop their interest in being a voice talent. In our interview you’ll hear a 60 second promotional video for Autistic Voiceover Artists, the name of the new venture, also called AVA. The voice talent for the video, Brian Olson, has a surprise message for us at the end.
Heidi and Robin began by sharing how they met and their discovery of the graceful way their skills and experiences compliment each other. Robin is a very successful VO artist and she’s been helping folks enter the profession for years. Heidi has a depth of experience coaching clients with autism, helping them achieve their dreams and discover new ones.
The program they offer is for those who aspire to a vo career as well as hobbyists who want to have fun. Their subscription site will also be filled with useful information for folks with autism on topics beyond the core content.

Don’t you love the acronym name, AVA? Tarheels are proud to be the state of birth for Ava Gardner. I believe we have another great AVA coming soon.
“Exploring Your Creative Genius” takes an expansive view on what it means to be creative and entrepreneurial in an ongoing conversation led by Carl Nordgren — entrepreneur, novelist, and lifelong student with decades of experience growing his own creative capacity and assisting others to do the same in exciting new ways!
