Exploring Your Creative Genius: Episode 141
In this episode of ‘Exploring your Creative Genius’ I shared the Four Creative Behaviors that have been part of my work for nearly 25 years.
I urge folks to try to bring these behaviors—being generous, humble, playful, and enthusiastic in your pursuit of beauty—to your day-to-day living; doing so develops your creative capacity.
And when you are focusing on a creative opportunity or trying to solve a big problem, intentionally bring these behaviors to your efforts attending to the opportunity or problem.
Research indicates that when you are in a good mood your peripheral vision expands—you see more of the world, more of it’s opportunities, more solutions. My belief is that when you are being generous, humble, playful, and enthusiastic in your pursuit of beauty it is quite likely you will be in the best mood the other circumstances of your life allows.
Be generous and others are generous in return.
Be humble so you can ask the important questions.
Be playful so you can have fun and see the world from a new perspective.
And be enthusiastic in your pursuit of beauty as the best refresh there it.

“Exploring Your Creative Genius” takes an expansive view on what it means to be creative and entrepreneurial in an ongoing conversation led by Carl Nordgren — entrepreneur, novelist, and lifelong student with decades of experience growing his own creative capacity and assisting others to do the same in exciting new ways!
