Did Hugh Hefner enable Bill Cosby?
A lawsuit has been filed against comedian Bill Cosby and Playboy founder Hugh Hefner. Model Chloe Goins is suing both men for sexual battery.
The claim goes back to 2008 when Goins was 18.
She claims that Hefner served her alcohol and possibly other substances and told her to lie down when she began to feel ill. Goins also claims that Cosby sexually assaulted her in the bedroom. She says that Hefner “knew or should have known [Cosby] had a history of severe and serial sexual battery and or possibly rape of women.”
Durham Bridge Strikes Again
The infamous can opener bridge in Durham struck again on May 2. It was the 107th crash documented by Jürgen Henn. Henn has been recording the low-clearance train crossing since 2008. The bridge is 11 feet, 8 inches high. He runs a website called 11foot8.com.
Kiefer Sutherland for president?
Jack Bauer isn’t running for president. But, the actor will play the president in an ABC drama coming this fall. Sutherland plays a low-level Cabinet member who becomes president after an attack on the nation’s capital. The show is called “Designated Survivor.”
