Welcome to Bridging the Gap, presented by Orange Partnership and airing on 97.9 The Hill and Chapelboro.com!
This month, join a conversation with Aidan Viola, intern with Orange Partnership and senior at Orange High School, and Breah Woolson, Program Coordinator with Orange Partnership.
Each November, the Great American Smoke Out recognizes the fight against tobacco and nicotine addiction. Since the 70s, Big Tobacco companies have been striving to attract new young customers, which is why popular vape products today are marketed with candy and fruit flavors, celebrity endorsements, and misleading health claims.
Listen above to the full conversation between 97.9 The Hill’s Andrew Stuckey, Aidan Viola, and Breah Woolson as they discuss the unique risks that vapes pose to young people, what is in the vapes themselves, and how parents can approach the conversation with their children.
