This week’s Adopt-A-Pet is Tawny from the Goathouse Refuge!

Here’s what the Goathouse Refuge said about Tawny:

Tawny is one of Sunny Sue’s litter of 6 precious kittens: Pouf, Mr. Puff, Miss Buffy, Tawny, Fawn, and Fawny. Tawny is one of the females with short tan fur marked with some white. Like all of these 6 kittens, she is very sweet natured and people friendly. She would love to be adopted with her sibling, Miss Buffy, with whom she has been since birth, or one of her other siblings. They are all in foster care, so if interested in a virtual online visit with Tawny and her sibling, please apply for one or both of them online at our website, and we will then have their fosterer contact you to set up a day and time to meet them.

The Goathouse Refuge has a policy of not adopting out kittens until they are 4 months old, and then only to families with no children under the age of six years. The Refuge requires that kittens be adopted in pairs until they are 5 months old, as they are very bonded to their siblings and can become quite depressed and stressed due to the separation. Kittens must be at least 9 months old before they are adopted into homes with children under the age of six years.
