Mapache is quickly rising to the top of the new wave of what’s being called West Coast Cosmic Americana. Made up of Clay Finch and Sam Blasucci, the duo has a sound they say is reflective of the landscape and musical traditions of their native California. Their eponymous LP Mapache is being re-released on Yep Roc Records. It was originally released two years ago in a limited run that sold out quickly. It’s available again now, with the added bonus of their 3-song LP “Lonesome Cowboy”.
