The new album draws from strong folk roots with lots of acoustic instruments, but with a rhythm section added for richness. His typical neo-psychedelic sound has evolved into a bluesy folk and country mix that’s unique from anything you’ve heard before. This LP definitely steps out of Chuck’s comfort zone of just two guitars, bass, and drums!
