Let’s shine the Yep Roc Artist Spotlight on Chatham County Line this week! They have a new album coming out on May 15 titled, “Strange Fascination.” Despite topping the Billboard bluegrass charts with their last three releases, they have branched out of their comfort zone on this new album. By adding a strong percussion line and changing up their lineup, they successfully broke out of the confines of the bluegrass genre. This time around they decided to say goodbye to their signature banjo sound and switch their focus to experimenting with drums, without abandoning American-roots traditional style.
