Trending today: a study finding that a large percentage of “authentic” indigenous art that’s on sale in the U.S. is actually counterfeit – factory-produced art that’s passed off as handmade. (Also, Aaron and Victor discuss nomenclature: in recent years, more and more indigenous writers have been referring to themselves as “Indian” rather than “Native American.” “Indigenous” may be even better, though, depending on the context.)
