Trending today: an existential threat to the DVD industry, which has always relied on Best Buy – which just announced they’re going to stop selling DVDs. That goes for Blu-Rays as well, and Best Buy is just one of several major retailers to make that move – leading some observers to raise concerns about the future of physical media. (Especially those who know their history: entire great films and TV shows have been lost forever because the physical media was either destroyed or not preserved.) Also, Victor makes Aaron feel very, very old.
