The Carolina Hurricanes’ season is now officially underway, with the Canes hoping to defend last year’s Stanley Cup. Star forward Seth Jarvis is still on the way back from offseason shoulder surgery – but while Jarvis is recovering, he’s also doing work off the ice to make a big impact in our community.

Recently, Jarvis made a big donation to help launch the Paws & Heel UNC Children’s Facility Dog Program, bringing specially trained dogs to UNC Children’s Hospital to support patients there. With Jarvis’ support, the program is set to launch in 2027 with two dogs.

You can support the cause as well: click here to learn more about the program and make a donation.

Aaron spoke with Seth Jarvis this week about the Paws & Heel program.
