Carolina Public Humanities director Lloyd Kramer and former UNC Chancellor James Moeser join Aaron to discuss an upcoming talk by Moeser that CPH is hosting next week at Flyleaf Books.
The talk is entitled “Trouble at Carolina: The Complex Relations Between UNC and State Governance,” part of CPH’s “Humanities in Action” series. Moeser will discuss the often-contentious back-and-forth between the campus community and the North Carolina General Assembly – and the sometimes controversial roles played by the Board of Trustees and Board of Governors. (Moeser argues that many of his own key achievements have been rolled back in recent years, by decisions made at the state level.)
