UNC’s Process Series is launching its fall season this weekend with a new play, Aviva Neff’s “Blood Earth Water” – a solo show that uses historical research and autobiography to explore identity in America. “Blood Earth Water” will be on stage twice: Friday and Saturday, September 19-20, at 7:30 both nights in UNC’s Swain Hall.
The show is free and open to everyone, but you can reserve a spot in advance by clicking here.
That’s just the beginning of UNC’s 2025/26 Process Series, spotlighting works in progress and giving artists a chance to develop their work by interacting with live audiences. Aaron welcomes artistic director Joseph Megel (entering his final year) to preview this year’s series, with a focus on “Rounding Home” and highlights that include a festival of new translations and a multisensory outdoor installation, “Murmurations,” that will go up at UNC’s Coker Arboretum in March.
