Fresh off the success of last year’s “Tularosa: An American Dreamtime,” local musician Kamara Thomas stops by to promote this month’s Sleepy Fest.

This year’s second annual Sleepy Fest will take place Saturday, October 28, from noon to 10 p.m. at Down Yonder Farm northeast of Hillsborough. The event will feature performances from many of the artists on the Sleepy Cat Records label, including Dante High, Chessa Rich, Nightblooms, and many more – along with Thomas, whose 2022 album “Tularosa” was the culmination of a project 10 years in the making.
