Wednesday, July 15, you’re invited to the Chapel Hill Public Library at 5:30 for a community conversation on resistance movements in U.S. history, marking 250 years since American independence. Everyone’s invited to come together, eat pizza, and consider which historical resistance movements are most inspiring today. Hosted by Dr. Deborah Stroman, “Liberty Land: 250 Years of Resistance” will gather attendees into small discussion groups to advance the conversation.

Aaron and Stroman discuss next week’s event – and share their own thoughts about which social movements might be our best models for progress in 2026.
