This week, Scott and Aaron honor figures who pushed boundaries – including early European explorers and settlers in the Carolinas, the inventor of a ‘fire extinguisher’ that evolved into our modern-day sprinkler systems, and a celebrated writer and women’s rights activist who also influenced the writing of “The Wizard of Oz.” Also: the Fifteenth Amendment is ratified, the song “Happy Birthday” is written, and Scott learns that he’s a Marvel superhero.
