Another system like the Triangle saw Thursday roles through starting Sunday, and with it will come rain on the front end and cold, cold temperatures on the tail end.
“It should be mostly light,” Figurskey says. “The impact should be relatively minimal. But, people getting ready to plan the early morning commute Tuesday—especially going north and west—should, kind of, keep stock of the weather.”
A blast of colder air is expected to move into Central North Carolina Tuesday night. As this cold air replaces the warmer temperatures of today, there is also a storm system moving toward our state from the Northwest bringing with it the chance of some precipitation.
