After a career-best performance against No. 7 Duke on Saturday, UNC forward Harrison Ingram was named the Co- ACC Player of the Week.

Ingram scored a season-high 21 points in Carolina’s 93-84 win against the Blue Devils, including making a career-high five three-pointers. In addition, the junior wing grabbed 13 rebounds, tied his career high with four steals and added a block. In the process, he became the first Tar Heel since George Lynch in 1993 to tally 20 points, 13 rebounds and four steals in a single game. Ingram is also the first Tar Heel since Reggie Bullock in 2013 to make five threes and grab 13 rebounds in a game.

This season, Ingram’s 12.5 points per game rank third on the team, and his nine rebounds per game rank second. Ingram is also shooting 41.4 percent on three-pointers, giving him a slight lead over R.J. Davis for best on the team. Over his last five games, Ingram is averaging 14 rebounds per game and shooting 42.3 percent on threes. Carolina is 4-1 in that span.

Ingram shared the weekly award with N.C. State’s DJ Horne, who averaged 25 points per game across the Wolfpack’s two wins over Miami and Georgia Tech.

Ingram and the rest of the Tar Heels will be back in action when they host Clemson Tuesday night at 7 p.m.
