All four UNC players competing in the main draw of the ITA All-American Championships in Tulsa–each seeded among the tournament’s top 10–earned a spot in the second round of the event by picking up victories on Wednesday.

Makenna Jones, the No. 2 seed, knocked off No. 71 Chiara Tomasetti of Northern Arizona 7-6, 7-6. The next Tar Heel win came courtesy of No. 10 Cameron Morra, who defeated No. 21 Oleksandra Korashvili of Oklahoma, 6-4, 6-0.

In the later portion of the day, No. 3 Alexa Graham fought off two match points to pull out a win over 41st-ranked Emma Antonaki of Mississippi State, 3-6, 7-6, 6-3.

The final Tar Heel to compete was No. 5 Sara Daavettila, who made light work of No. 38 Michaela Haet from Rice on the way to a 6-2, 6-3 victory.

Second round play is set to begin on Thursday.
