Once again, NBA superstar LeBron James has found himself in competition with a prominent figure from UNC basketball.
On Wednesday, James arrived in the Staples Center for the Lakers’ game against the Timberwolves rocking exclusive Air Jordan 1’s inspired by Michael Jordan’s alma mater.

A few days earlier, UNC head coach Roy Williams wore the same sneakers for the Tar Heels’ game against Virginia Tech. The entire UNC staff wore sneakers on the bench as part of Coaches vs. Cancer Suits And Sneakers Week.

From goat.com:
Inspired by Michael Jordanâs alma mater, the Off-White x Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG âUNCâ carries a classic two-tone composition, filtered through Virgil Ablohâs unique design prism. The process involves taking a white leather base with dark powder blue overlays and adding embellishments that convey an expressive, handmade quality. They include detached Wings, a floating Swoosh, and lines of text on the medial-side quarter panel delineating the taxonomy of the shoe.
So who wore it better: Roy Williams or LeBron James?
How is this even a relevant question? Roy Williams recruited MJ and is a Tar Heel. Lefraud is a wannabe.
Really ! does it matter ? in a game like basketball it should never matter who wore what and who wore it better , players or the coaches . As they both have equal importance over game one on field and another off field.
