The No. 2 ranked UNC women’s soccer team was scheduled to open its spring season on Saturday at Tennessee, but that match was postponed Thursday due to a positive COVID-19 test within the Volunteers’ program.
Both schools are now in the process of trying to find a new date to play the game.
UNC will now open the spring portion of the season on March 20 at Delaware. The Tar Heels went 11-1 in the fall with the only loss coming to No. 1 Florida State in the ACC Championship Game back in November.
