The UNC football team found out its postseason destination on Sunday, as the Tar Heels will travel to Annapolis, Maryland to face the Temple Owls in the Military Bowl.

That game is scheduled to kick off at noon on Dec. 27, marking the first time UNC will play a game starting at noon all season long.

It’s also the first bowl game UNC will have played in since 2016.

The Tar Heels have won each of their last two games to bring a 6-6 record into Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium, while Temple won its regular season finale against UCONN and will come into the bowl game at 8-4.

UNC is 14-19 all-time in bowl games, with its last win coming in 2013 against Cincinnati in the Belk Bowl. Temple, meanwhile, is 3-5 all-time in bowl games and is coming off of a loss to Duke in last year’s Independence Bowl.
