In response to Tuesday’s scheduled game against Boston College getting postponed, the UNC men’s basketball team announced Saturday that it will host Marquette on Wednesday instead.

The non-conference game will be the second that the Tar Heels have hosted in a span of a week, having replaced Virginia Tech on the schedule with Northeastern on Feb. 17.

UNC has had four ACC games postponed this season, and has been unable to reschedule any of them–prompting the recent push to add home games against willing opponents from any league.

Marquette is part of the Big East conference and is coached by former Duke point guard and assistant Steve Wojciechowski. The Golden Eagles have gone 10-12 overall this season, while sitting eighth place in their conference standings with a 6-10 record inside the Big East.
