Clemente Inclan homered for the fourth straight game and the 18th-ranked UNC baseball team held on Sunday afternoon at Boshamer Stadium for a 5-3 victory over Clemson–finishing off the weekend sweep.

Clemson took an early lead once again on Sunday, going ahead 2-0 in the top of the first inning thanks to a home run by Dylan Brewer.

The Tar Heels (10-4, 6-3 ACC) responded by scoring all five of their runs in the home half of the first, which included Inclan’s two-run blast to put UNC ahead 4-2.

Tomas Frick, Danny Serretti and Caleb Roberts each added an RBI in the inning, with Frick’s run-scoring single representing the Tar Heels’ final run of the afternoon.

On the mound, Max Alba was extremely impressive for UNC. The 6-foot-5 redshirt freshman threw a career-high 7.2 innings and struck out a career-high nine batters.

Alba also retired 22 of the next 24 batters he faced after surrendering the early home run to Brewer.

Lefty Caden O’Brien pitched the final 1.1 innings of the game to earn the save.
