Inside Carolina reported Wednesday that former UNC guard Jalek Felton–the Tar Heels’ top recruit heading into last season–has joined BC Nokia in the Korisliiga Finnish Basketball League.

The move to Finland comes after he left Petrol Olimpija Ljubljana in Slovenia after just two games last month.

Felton had 31 points, five rebounds and six assists in his first game in Finland.

The nephew of former UNC star Raymond Felton left the Tar Heels midway through last season after being suspended indefinitely by the university for reasons that were never specifically disclosed.
