With the NCAA Tournament now down to just eight teams, game times have been set for the last round of matchups prior to the Final Four.
The top-seeded Tar Heels will take on No. 2 Seed Kentucky in the South Regional Final on Sunday at 5:05 p.m.
That game will take place in Memphis at the FedEx Forum, and will be a rematch of a thrilling game back in December–which the Wildcats won 103-100 in Las Vegas behind 47 points from freshman guard Malik Monk.
Kentucky is coming off an 86-75 victory over No. 3 seed UCLA in the Sweet 16, using 39 points from its other talented freshman guard, DeAaron Fox, to outlast the high-powered Bruin offense.
UNC, meanwhile, looks poised to avenge both its loss in last year’s NCAA Final and the loss to Kentucky earlier this year.
The Tar Heels got a combined 50 points from their two top stars–Joel Berry and Justin Jackson–as they defeated Butler 92-80 on Friday.
These two historic programs will compete for a spot in the Final Four on Sunday, with CBS airing the game on television and, of course, WCHL carrying the game on radio.
