UNC’s Cameron Morra was selected Thursday as the ACC Women’s Tennis Freshman of the Year, following a fabulous rookie campaign in which she went 19-2 in dual matches and worked her way up to No. 45 in the national rankings.

In addition, Morra was one of four Tar Heels to earn a spot on the All-ACC teams–as she was named a Second Team performer alongside teammate Sara Daavettila.

Juniors Makenna Jones and Alexa Graham–the nation’s No. 5 and No. 7 ranked players, respectively–gave UNC a pair of First Team All-ACC players as well.

With those four leading the way, the top-ranked Tar Heels are 29-1 this season and currently boast a 20-match winning streak heading into the upcoming NCAA Tournament.
