After grabbing four receptions for a career-high 141 yards and a touchdown during Saturday’s 31-28 loss at Florida State, UNC senior wide receiver Beau Corrales was named to the Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award honorable mention list.

The touchdown was the 12th of Corrales’ career at UNC, a 33-yard catch from quarterback Sam Howell that helped kick-start the Tar Heels’ furious second-half rally against the Seminoles.

The Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award is presented annually to the top offensive player in college football with ties to the state of Texas.

Corrales is a native of Georgetown, Texas who went to Georgetown High School prior to arriving in Chapel Hill.
