According to ESPN NBA reporter Adrian Wojanarowski, former UNC center Tyler Zeller has agreed to a deal with the Memphis Grizzlies that will have him join the team for the final four games of the regular season.
Zeller has played in just two games this season, both coming with the Atlanta Hawks earlier this year. In that time, he averaged just 5.5 minutes per outing and did not score.
The Grizzlies are currently 31-47 overall and have no shot at making the upcoming NBA playoffs.
For his career, Zeller has averaged 6.9 points and 4.4 rebounds per game over seven seasons.
Free agent center Tyler Zeller is signing with Memphis for rest of the season, league sources tell ESPN. Grizzlies are waiving Dusty Hannahs.
