After graduating at UNC this past May, former men’s lacrosse standout Chris Cloutier is already making his mark at the professional level.

Playing for the Denver Outlaws of Major League Lacrosse, Cloutier was awarded the Rookie of the Year honor last week following an outstanding debut campaign.

Although a knee injury limited Cloutier to just six of the Outlaws’ 15 games, he still finished third on the team in scoring with 26 goals and 14 assists.

Denver was 5-0 in Cloutier’s first five games before the injury, and ultimately went on to win the league championship in his absence.
