Orange County Gymnastics has now finished the competitive season upon the conclusion of the Xcel Regional Championships that took place in Hickory, NC.
The Xcel Gymnastics is a tiered gymnastics program with five different levels, from bronze, to silver, gold, platinum, and finally diamond as the highest rank.
With 1,400 gymnasts involved, eight states in the region compete in the Xcel program, including North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia, Florida, Mississippi, Alabama, and Louisiana.
After migrating to their new Hillsborough location, Orange County Gymnastics is certainly ready to get started for the Chapel Hill community.
Vivienne Fort (pictured above), a bronze level competitor, won first on floor exercise, second on balance beam, and first All Around Regional Champion.
Sydney Schertz, a silver level gymnast, received first on the vault, first on floor, and second All Around.
Jessica Lambert, a platinum level gymnast, earned first on the balance beam, and fourth place All Around.
