Marcus Paige has been cut by the Utah Jazz.
The former 2nd-team All American was drafted by the Brooklyn Nets 55th overall in the NBA Draft on June 23rd. He was traded to Utah the following day.
Paige appeared in two preseason games for the Jazz, scoring eleven points in 18 combined minutes. It’s possible that Paige could sign with Utah’s D-League team, the Salt Lake City Stars.
During his senior season, Paige was a first-team Academic All-American for UNC in leading the Tar Heels to the ACC Championship and an appearance in the national championship game.
