The 2022-23 UNC basketball season will unofficially begin Friday night in Chapel Hill, as the men’s and women’s programs will host “Live Action with Carolina Basketball” in the Dean Smith Center. The event is the new iteration of what was formerly known as “Late Night With Roy” during head coach Roy Williams’ tenure. For more information about the event, click here.

If you aren’t making it to the Smith Center for the festivities, here’s how you can follow along at home.

Broadcast and TV Schedule

WCHL will not be broadcasting a live feed of the ceremony, but a video stream is available through ACC Network Extra. The event itself begins at 7:30 p.m.

What if I don’t have cable?

A live stream will be available here. Matt Krause, Kyle Straub and former Tar Heel star Garrison Brooks will provide commentary. You will need to sign in with TV provider information to watch.
