
ESPN College GameDay, the network’s flagship college basketball show, will broadcast live from the Dean Smith Center in Chapel Hill on Saturday, February 3 before UNC takes on Duke that evening.
Host Rece Davis will be joined by analysts Jay Bilas, Seth Greenberg and Jay Williams to preview the matchup and others around the country. The live broadcast begins at 11 a.m., and the Tar Heels and Blue Devils will tip off in their 261st all-time meeting at 6:30 p.m.
Fans are encouraged to attend the broadcast and bring signs. A sign-making station will be set up outside Entrances C and D of the arena. Smith Center doors open at 8:30 a.m., and lines may begin to form at 7:30 a.m. UNC students will be directed to Entrance C, while the general public will be directed to Entrance D. Admission is free, and seating is general admission in sections 104-114. The UNC clear bag policy will be in place, and concessions will be available.
Public parking for the broadcast will be available in the non-reserved sections of the Manning and Bowles Lots next to the arena. Disability parking will be available in the Williamson Lot off of Skipper Bowles Drive. All lots must be cleared by 1 p.m. (an hour after the broadcast ends).

This is the 12th time UNC has hosted College GameDay from the Smith Center, though Carolina has lost each of the last three instances (all to Duke). In fact, Carolina’s last six times hosting the show have come the day of the Duke game, with the Tar Heels holding a 3-3 record in those matchups. UNC holds a 6-5 record when it hosts College GameDay.
