The ACC Network will feature 24 hours of Tar Heel highlights from the 2024-25 athletic year Tuesday as part of its annual “ACC Network Takeover.” Programming begins at midnight and lasts through 11:59 p.m.
Featured games include the women’s basketball team’s win against No. 10 NC State at Carmichael Arena back in February. Those who would like to watch will need to set an alarm: the game will be shown at 2 a.m.
UNC’s two national title wins will be shown back-to-back, as the women’s lacrosse team’s triumph against Northwestern at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro will play at 12 p.m., and the women’s soccer team’s 1-0 victory against Wake Forest last December will air at 2 p.m. At 4 p.m., fans can catch a replay of the men’s basketball team’s blowout win against NC State, played at the Dean Smith Center in a snowy and icy Chapel Hill in February. The game was notable for its fan presence, as the university had opened up the arena to any fans within a safe walking distance due to inclement weather in the area.
At 6 p.m., Tar Heel fans can see another blowout: the football team’s 35-11 rout of Florida State in Tallahassee during which running back Omarion Hampton scored five touchdowns. The broadcast day will wrap up with a showing of the Diamond Heels’ 14-4 win against Clemson in the ACC Tournament final at Durham Bulls Athletic Park this past May.
