Bill Belichick’s Tar Heels are the hottest ticket in town.
With less than two months to go until kickoff, the university announced all season ticket packages and individual tickets are sold out for the entire 2025 season.
This fall, Kenan Stadium will host six games, as the Tar Heels host TCU (September 1), Richmond (September 13), Clemson (October 4), Virginia (October 25), Stanford (November 8) and Duke (November 22). As of publication, only the TCU (8 p.m.) and Richmond games (3:30 p.m.) have kickoff times. Kickoff times for the remaining games will be announced as the season progresses, usually two weeks before kickoff.
The program is encouraging fans who would still like to purchase tickets to visit SeatGeek, the officially licensed secondary marketplace for all Tar Heel sports.
“Purchasing tickets through SeatGeek is the easiest and safest way to purchase tickets to sold out UNC events,” read a release from the school. “The integrated partnership ensures that all transactions are verified through Carolina and allows the UNC Athletics Ticket Office to provide a level of customer service that is not available to customers who purchase from other marketplaces.”
The 2025 season will be the 135th in the history of the UNC football program, and the first with Belichick as head coach. The eight-time Super Bowl champion was hired in December. The Tar Heels have reached a bowl game in each of their last six seasons, which is the second-longest streak in program history.
