This month on “Wonderful Water,” join 97.9 The Hill’s Andrew Stuckey for a conversation with Kelly Belcher, “the heart” of OWASA’s human resources program. She manages hiring processes, organizes employee appreciation events, helps staff navigate questions about benefits and a great deal more.

OWASA has a diverse workforce, strives for a positive work culture, and the wide range of positions within OWASA means there’s a great deal to consider: running a treatment plant, testing water samples in the lab, facility maintenance, water distribution/sewer collection maintenance, customer service, information technology and communications — it’s all part of the incredible work OWASA does all day, every day.

Chapel Hill and Carrboro residents use roughly 7 million gallons of water a day, and “Wonderful Water” is a monthly conversation sponsored by the Orange Water and Sewer Authority highlighting its work to keep our community growing and water flowing.
